WiiSX rev. 57 - testing

Tried Symphony as a cue with the same results. Tried playing a couple different ways (things like only gc controller plugged in. Disconnecting and then reconnecting gc controller) nothing worked. Tested Castlevania Chronicles as a .bin and it crashed while initially loading so I never saw anything onscreen except a code dump. Expect me to edit this post with a screenshot of the code dump soon.

@DrLucky

Change the topic's name for "WiiSX rev 57" or something like that. You know, just to be updated :P

What I am wondering is, can the emulator run REAL Playstation discs, instead of ISO's .img .bin or whetever other format one wants to try. I would seem A) that it would keep the emulator as a NON piracy machine, because you would need to own the disc and B) maybe run faster since it is not have to emulate the entire disc all once and only access the disc when it needs information? like how a console does anyway?

I could see this working for CD-I, PSONE, SegaCD, Dreamcast, etc.

This would also save space on the SD cards, as some later games could become large disk image files and with the Wii only reading 2gb disc right now, having to constantly copy and erase games from a card would get annoying fast.

Thoughts?

About your points:

A) Is impossible to run CDs on Wii, thanks to the crappy DVD drive =P. And, of course, you could just burn a copy of a legit game or from a illegit download anyways, since implementing the PS1 copy protection on the emulator probably would take much more time than, uhhhhhh, finishing the emulator itself.
B) Reading from a SD card is far more faster than reading from a CD

you could also put the ISOs on a DVD or external harddrive

WiiSX Revision 57 Wiimote, Nunchuck and Classic Controller Support.

Tekken 3 (PAL) (.Img)

Worked but VERRY VERRY Slow !
Could play through Arcade & Versus Mode !
Practice Mode didnt wanna work for a reason ?
FPS goes from 30 on Menu & 20 when playing !
And glitches appear when playing like camera is moving the hole time !

Tombi (PAL) (.Iso)

I can start the game but when the man thats talking with Tombi on the begining stops talking to Tombi the game freezes !

Alundra (PAL) (.Bin)

I didnt get a loop with this one and could even start the game !
But when the guy at the begining on the ship is climbing of the ladder he falls and so he cant go further and so the game ends !
So this game still doesnt work !!!!!

Is this project still being worked on?

I'd like to dust off my old PS1 games and play them. Especially Tekken 2.

Can you load them from the Wii's DVD or do you need to create an image? I have Nero at home will this work.
