Gecko OS 1.9.3 - Official Release?

I've noticed that the Gecko OS page is still on 1.9.2. Then I came across this:

Their Google Code page doesn't have it. Is this an official release? I edited the Other Downloads section to have this version because I wasn't sure.

Its an RC. It has not been officially released. It is on the official website so therefore, it must be legit. It is just like a beta.

What exactly are the new changes?

What I meant by official release, was it released by the original author(s)?

RC = Release Candidate.
Seems to just have some fixes for the beta released a few days prior.

Wiiware Channel selector has not been put up yet, What is the chances of that coming back, I really really really want to do mega man 9 on cheats like i did before, I tried to bug ios249 with not alot of luck, So basically is Gecko going to have a patch to bring the wiiware channels back on it?

I downloaded it. The changes I see are a few channel games that did not boot up correctly on 1.9.2 boot up now on 1.9.3. Also a lot of game discs do not have a second spin-up when loading
