Preloader Help

I can't get preloader to work when I boot it it says it cant find my sd root or something like that.

That really doesn't make any sense.

You need to tell us what the EXACT error is if you want help.

That is what it says, it says preloader cannot find the root of my sd card, Does it need formatting??? Tthe problem is though as is the same with most homebrew you can never read the error message because it takes you back to the hbc.

I now have more specific info:

failed to get root, current IOS (36) has the fakesign bug fixed before the error code a message come up saying it may damage my wii and the version info was up above it I was using Preloader v 0.29 Installer (march 31 2009 14:33:34)

you need to have trucha bug in IOS36, which you dont have. You can get it, but we cannot tell you how as the app used to do so is unsupported on WiiBrew because trucha bug can be used for piracy, but the app is legal, so google around, shouldnt take long to work out how to restore trucha bug,
