Is Mii Extractor relatively safe?

Well I finally downloaded the Homebrew Channel last night.
I was impressed with the quality of it and how it integrates into your Wii (ooh, that sounds nasty).
I had been waiting for weeks to do this so it felt really good to finally install it.
Kudos to the Team for the hours of hard work that must have gone into all this.

I ask about Mii Extractor because when looking it up on the Homebrew Browser, the description reads "use carefully" whereas many emulators and other applications don't have this warning.
Are there any known problems or specific risks associated with this application?

Thanks.

Mii Extractor is safe. It just reads the data from your Wii and sticks it on your SD card. Mii Importer is less safe, if you've fiddled about with the actual Mii data outside Nintendos intended parameters, you could break things.

Makes perfect sense.
I don't intendo to mess around with MiiImporter or whatever it's called.

Thank you very much.
