Genesis Plus GX won't display video!

I have a 4.1u new wii with d3-2 that doesn't spin dvd-r's. All my other emulators work through HBC except Genesis plus and SMS Plus. Snes9x and fceux work fine but the sega emulators do not display video although I can hear "SEGA!" when I load up something like Sonic. So they have audio but no video. Am I missing something? A setting? Do I need to install a particular IOS or something? Please help!

your TV does not support original non-interlaced video modes
Video Options -> Rendering Mode = INTERLACED or PROGRESSIVE

also, if your TV does not support 50hz, be sure TV Mode option is set to "60HZ"

Also maybe try plugging in the video cables to somewhere else on the TV - that might work if the above answer doesn't.
