WiiEngine bincuesplit problems
March 22, 2010 10:57PM
I've been trying to get WiiEngine, the TG-16 emulator by Hermes, to play a CD game. I have a cue+bin image of the game in question, but I can't get his bincuesplit utility to work on it. I'm pretty sure it's because the cue+bin have spaces in the REALLY LONG filename, and being a DOS program, bincuesplit can't handle those spaces.

Does anyone know of an alternative program for splitting cue+bin TG16CD images into toc+ogg?

Edit: Nevermind. I found a copy of the cue+bin without spaces in the filename and it worked.

Sorry to point out the obvious, but you could have just renamed the bin/cue files instead of finding one with a different name.

I hate to necro this thread, but I have to respond to raptir.

That is obvious, and it doesn't work. It's the first thing I tried, but the files must internally reference each other by name.

The .cue references the .bin, but that's a simple fix. Just open the cue in notepad and replace any instances of the original bin's name with the new one.
