Having a problem saving games with fceugx and snes9xgx

So I have tried putting my save and load folder in the main folder of both these emulators and it won't save.

I tried to put the save and load folder in the main area of the sd card outside the apps folder and it still
won't save.

Where do I put the save and load folder so I can save my games?


Obviously,

It says that saves will goto apps/snes9xgx/saves

But that doesn't work...

In my experience, you don't even need to create the folders yourself. It will automatically create them when it tries to save. What happens when you try to save?

Edit: Also, the default folder is just sd:/snes9xgx/saves. It's not in the apps directory.

I didn't create any save folder.

And when I save a game like on snes9xgx it says "error creating file"

Make sure that the write protect switch isn't on on the SD card. Try another SD card or USB drive if you have one available.
