FCE Ultra GX v3.2.3 saving game

so i have FCE Ultra GX v3.2.3 and ive been trying to save my game and all it does is has a loading screen and never saves... let me know if anyone can help me

There might be a lock-switch on your SD card which you may have switched to 'lock', meaning your Wii cannot write to your SD card and therefore cannot save anything to it. Check that switch and switch it away from 'lock' if it's set to 'lock'.

Give it some time, nobody lives on here we have other stuff to do.

If that don't work be sure to save it as a state, if not it won't save your game.

FIXED!

Just fixed this tonight, couldn't save my file on 'Crystalis' through an in-game method.

Note: I could use save states, and I was for a little bit, but I desired to stay as legitimate to the game as I could in an emulator.

Every time I restarted the Wii, it would delete my in-game saves, but keep my save states (emulator, roms, saves, save states all on SD card).

FIX:
1. Go to FCEU GX Main Menu
2. Select 'Settings'
3. Select 'Saving & Loading'
4. For Auto Load choose 'RAM'
5. For Auto Save choose 'RAM'

After this, I can turn off my Wii completely and my in-game save files persist.
