Snes9x GX Snapshot Issue

Hello, I updated my Snes9x GX emulator today to version 4.2.7, and a snapshot I was going to load and continue playing has an error message when trying to load.

"Error: Incompatible snapshot version"

Can anyone clarify why this has happened and what I can do to fix this problem?

If the snapshot was created under 4.2.6, that's your problem. A snapshot created under 4.2.6 can only be loaded by 4.2.6. 4.2.6 contained an upgraded core change, and 4.2.7 reverts that change - putting it back in line with 4.2.5.

Can I revert the snapshot back to the correct version?

No. Read Tantric's message again. Change Snes9x GX back to 4.2.6.
