homebrew apps won't work

i have installed two emulaotors an they installed to the main menu and i could see the channel but when i click on it it loads and then quits to the main menu am i doing something wrong any tips or ideas would be great

They're probably forwarder channels, meaning you need to have the emulators set up on your SD card as normal (i.e. you need an "apps" folder on the root of your SD card, and within that folder, you need another folder for each app).

I literally just explained it...

Make a folder on the root of your SD card called "apps". Within that folder, make a seperate folder for each app. In each app's folder, put the app. When you download the app, there should be a "boot.dol" and probably an "icon.png" and a "meta.xml", and maybe some other files. All these go into the app's folder.
