Installation is simple - just run the DVDX stub installer. If you have a modchip, you may need to install PatchMii core before installing DVDX.

how to run the file?

@Pkmns
Did you downgrade from a higher firmware? Do you have preloader or starfall installed?

Dvdx Installer For 3.4
February 23, 2009 09:41PM
I Saw It Last Nighht On The Homebrew Browser, I Think The App Its New, So I Downloaded It, And In The Description It Said "This Will Install A Small Hidden Channel On YOur Wii That Allows You To Play Dvds With Out A Mod Chip On A 3.4 System" So I Installed It And It Said "Installation Succesful" And It Just Took Me Back To The Homebrew Channel. So My Qustion Is.....Wheres That "Small Hidden Channel"?

Ps Sorry For Putting A Capital Letter On Every Word, I Know Some People Dont Liket So, Sorry.

Hidden.

You don't access it directly. The application provides the inner workings for other applications to access the DVD drive and the files on DVD -R/+R discs as well as factory pressed discs. Also, mplayer allows you to view DVD video content using DVDx (although that functionality is rather limited).

Ah Ok, So I Need Another App To Play Dvds?
Re: Dvdx Installer For 3.4

Correct.
Look for "MPlayer dvdlib edition" under "Media" if you are using the Homebrew Browser.
