Are you using Dop-IOS MOD or the original? Mod has the option before the main screen pops up.

I think he was asking if you could put IOS 249 on a 3.4 system (I know 249 is trucha vulnerable)

You misunderstood, I was asking if IOS249 was Trucha Vulnerable. I have IOS249 in my system already. My Wii had it since I got it.

Yeah, IOS249 should work
Re: AnyRegion Changer

Okay, I know I already asked this, but will using a component (480p) cable REALLY work?

Since 480p is a EDTV standard, it should be universal, and PAL/NTSC barrier will be removed...will it?

And by using the component cable, will I have to switch the video mode in the Options menu? (semibrick galore!)

If that is so, forget I even mentioned this.

removing title....
ERROR! ES_Delete...< ret = -1017>
press any key to continue

then i do and reboot the wii and it's still 4.0U system menu...

You have the same problem as mine, your IOS36 has...oddities with it (concerning the ES_ instruction set), ask one of the more experienced people here, all I did was modify an app.

YES!!!!! OMG!!! My Wii is officially fixed! Thanks to everyone here, I can see! YAY! Oh well...yes, I ended up having to do this:

1) Run Dop-IOS MOD with IOS: 249
2) Patch IOS: 36 with ES_Identify and Trucha Bug.
3) Run Setting_Replace and overwrite existing PAL-U Setting.txt with new NTSC-U Setting.txt.

Similar problems, but not the same (I had ES_Identify as a problem, you had ES_DeleteTitleContent).

It seems you dont have ES_Identify in IOS36 then. Simple solution. Download Dop-IOS MOD (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Dop-IOS_MOD) and run it. Select to run on an IOS you have trucha bug in (I assume you have trucha bug in at least one IOS). Then select to install IOS36, and choose to patch ES_Identify into it. The other patches dont really matter. It will download IOS36 from NUS and patch it. Then exit the application and run S_R. It should now work fine.

You can use Dop-IOS without the internet. Use NUS Downloader to get the necessary files for IOS36.
I could explain the rest in detail if you want. Yes, you can get the files with NUS Downloader. You don't need to pack it into a WAD.
You can choose IOS36 from the database and click Start NUS Download
When you use it, it should create a folder "0000000100000024v3094" or whatever version you want.
On your SD card, make a folder called "00000001". In that folder, make another folder called "00000024". In that folder, make another folder called "v3094" (or whatever version you have). In that folder, put the contents of the "0000000100000024v3094" folder inside.

Then run Dop-IOS and instead of connecting to a network, it will find the files on the SD card.

so i should download this and
patch ES_DeleteTitleContent?
Re: AnyRegion Changer

dop-IOS can't patch ES_DeleteTitleContent into the IOS. However, provided your Wii's serial does NOT start with LU64 or higher, you can use it to install v1042 of IOS36. You could try that. However, only do this as a last resort. Downgrading IOS is a bad idea, and will brick a lot of Wiis (ones with serial starting LU64+). What exactly are you trying to do? Downgrade System Menu? If so, DONT. Its a very bad idea, its pointless and dangerous.
