Google adds on Wiibrew??

why are there google adds on the top of the Wiibrew forum pages?

kind of annoying... but if it provides you guys with some $$$... then no problem ! :)

also, a lot of the adds are linking to illegal stuff, and to downloading games

Yes, I spoke to tona about this via the irc yesterday. The people hosting wiibrew and the forums are doing it for free despite getting more than one gigabyte of bandwidth everyday. The advertisements are there to make money, and but questionable ones aren't intendedly there. Be certain though, that it is being looked into for a solution.

Erm ... yes, the Adsense ads are supposed to be there. No, the bullshit ads are not supposed to be there; we're working on it.

You probably have to talk to google about that
