Video Mode in AnyRegion Changer

hi evrybody

my spec:
wii Pal 3.2E
HBC installed
video mode on PAL 50
TV compatible PAL 50 and NTSC (but not PAL 60)
modchip YAOSM 3.2

my problem:
when i play NTSC rom on snesGX, i only have 50 frames/second instead of 60 (normal cause i'm in 50Hz). so it's a bit slow.
when i play NTSC game cube game, i've a weird screen (or black and white screen if i setup my display to NTSC)

so i think, if i can setup my wii in NTSC video mode (and my TV to) it could solve my problem.

my question:
with anyregion changer, is it "risky" to only change the video mode to NTSC and leave the other parameters unchanged?
and often do that to switch between PAL and NTSC ? (cause i want to be able to play my PAL game to)

thanx for reply

PS: sorry for my english :-(

As long as your display supports the video mode you're switching to, it should be safe. The video mode can be switched independent of the other settings.

The only two settings that really NEED to be congruent are AREA and System Menu Region.

Edit:
it works like a charm
60 fps in emulator, and full color screen with NTSC GC game.
Perfect.
thanks again.

I think it's a good trick for PAL owner who doesn't have PAL 60 compatible TV but have NTSC support.
