Yeah, I'm really surprised they even went after IOS 16 in the end :P In all seriousness though, IOS 249 wouldn't be that hard to still patch up for a quick 4.0.1 release. Maybe Nintendo's trying to tell us they just dont care?

well no ones gonna be desperate to update so theyll have to think up of something really good for an update (not usb keyboard support for check mii out), maybe something like usb pen compatibility?

Another new selection of games in the shop channel that can only be accessed via a firmware update would make people want to update.

But you'd need the proper IOSs to run the new games.
