Punch Out Update :)

Just an update for anyone who has homebrew with 4.0U. The Punch Out disc update has disabled no homebrew. Thanks to Team Twiizers for the ability to run it without fear.

I wonder what IOS's it updated... Any chance it finally got 250?

No clue but I'm sure we'll find out soon. Luckily I installed bootmii as boot2 so I shouldn't have much to worry about in the future.

If I'm still on 3.4 will the Punch Out update take me to 4.0?

I'm currently using Gecko to play it and skip the update. Could I just let it update the natural way and still have HBC active?

Nevermind I got my answer. The Punch Out update will only take your Wii up to System Menu 3.4 for anyone else who's wondering. I was on 3.4 - and did the on disc update, and I am still happily at 3.4, with no homebrew issues.

Without fear until they decide to make games update boot2 somehow. o.O;
