Updating HBC after 4.0?

Hey guys, I installed the HBC through the Twilight Hack on menu 3.3 (I think), and had my WiiConnect24 turned off. I went to check out the 4.0 upgrade (without checking the wiki first...) and after the install, noticed there was an upgrade to HBC. Of course the upgrade didn't work. Is there any way around this, or am I stuck with my beta 9 version?

You're stuck until a new installer comes out to work with 4.0, then updates should work.

no no.... if you already have the HBC beta 9, then you can just run the upgrader/installer as you would an app through the HBC...

Yes, take the latest boot.dol of the HBC. Put it in a folder. Put that folder in your apps folder (on your SD(HC) card). Turn on the HBC and run the app you just made to update.

EDIT: BTW, quite a few people on older firmwares appear to have had trouble with online updating and this method worked for all of them.

Didn't work. I got Error -1040002011 installing ticket. I'm guessing it's because HBC is trying to use IOS36.

Anything else I can try?

Just hold on, a new installer is in the works. Once its done, run it like you would run the current boot.dol as an app.
