Homebrew stack dump and BootMii help

Hey everyone,

Just curious as to why about 40% of the homebrew apps I run end up with a stack dump error resulting in my having to reboot the Wii. Stack dump occurs whether I use the homebrew browser or not. Tried reformatting my USB drive from FAT to FAT32 and vice versa and playing around with the allocation unit sizes but with the same result. Also I used the latest HackMii installer on my 4.3U machine everything works great except for that and I tried to run BootMii to do a NAND backup and nothing happens while the LED blinks on and off. If anyone can shed some light on this to help me out that would be great I am fascinated by the way this stuff works and am trying to self educate myself as much as possible. :)

Thank you,

Fubar

Have you tried using an SD card? BootMii also needs an SD card to work.

Yes I have tried running off an SD card and it still does the same thing. Maybe the file structure needs to be different?

Exactly what apps are causing the stack dumps(crashes)?
