Boot Mii reversible?

Boot Mii reversible?

I have been reading about BootMii wherever I can find the information but still have some unanswered questions:

1. Will the installation of BootMii be reversible (or is the ELF preloader code overwritten for good)?

2. Will BootMii be installable from the Homebrew Channel or does it require to run directly from the TP Hack or similar exploit?

3. Will support for the Homebrew Channel in its current form stop after BootMii is released and it will no longer be installable through means other than BootMii itself

Thank you very much.

1. I'd imagine reinstalling the original boot2 through ARC would overwrite the boot2 version of bootmii.

2. Yes.

3. I wouldn't have thought so for either of those.

1) ARC touches boot2?

3) As far as I understand it, BootMii, the whole package, is meant to replace all features of the HBC

AFAIK, BootMii DOESN'T substitute Homebrew Channel.

they are looking many different methods but if it were a boot2, "updating" it would remove it.
