Installing A Mod Chip Without Soldering?

Yes, I know that with Zelda, you do not need a modchip to play burned games/dvd's and such. However, I live in Korea and in Korea, NO ZELDA YET :O

Is it possible to install a mod chip onto my wii without soldering anything on it? I'm one of those uber cautious people who freak out at the thought of getting their system broken and not being able to fix it because it has a mod-chip installed onto it.

So are there any one of those plug in things like the Xeno Top Gear and products made by Team Xecutor or something.

Either that, or
Is there anyway to play games from any region on my Wii without modding it without Zelda?

Um, unless I missed something you can't play burned games with the twilight hack.

You could probably just find Zelda for sale online from either a domestic or foreign retailer.

Arikado, would you kindly read the whole thread before posting at all?

If you're talking about backups, then you should have read the rules before posting at all.

If you're talking about import games, then no, there is no way to play them without TP Hack or a drivechip.

Yes, you can read disks with the TPhack in combination with libdi. Also, I think Paradox is trying to run homebrew on his Wii by burning the Homebrew channel to a disk. She can't do the TPhack as in Korea they don't have TP.
Anyhow, I know of no modchip for the wii at all. There are plenty of drivechips out there, but they must be soldered.

No, no, I'm not being sarcastic, I've been in too many sites where nobody ever reads the whole thread and posts.
Sites full of dumb ****s made me believe that everybody was the same

If you want to play imports, you could install a drivechip with a clip instead of soldering.

Of course, make sure you use it for legal purposes...
