I would like to begin coding some games for the Wii, executing native code. I think I have done my research but before I begin I would like to simply ask if I have gotten things right.
- Twilight Hack running
- Homebrew channel installed
- Get DevKitPro, Learn.
- Use WiiLoad to deploy project via TCP connection to the Wii.
Is this the best scenerio for beginning some gamedev on the Wii? Or is there a better way to get at the Wii natively? Other than shelling out 1-2k for the SDK.
