Regarding Fake Signing Applications

Is now on 3.2E.

I installed newest MiiChannel with Mii Channel Updater, newest shopchannel (unfortunly forgot which updater i used...) then HombrewChannel,BootMii,DVDX.
(No other changes were made as far as I am aware of)

Now Dvdx,AnyTitleChanger, AnyRegionChanger will not work properly spitting out errors such as -1017, -2011 and so on.
With that one would assume that i got some update including anti-Fake Signing...
But I can still use Datels Freeloader and loading some games with it(some stopped working), so might be some possibility problem lies elsewhere?

But anyway assuming some IOSes got patched with Shop/Mii/HC updater or whatever, is there anyway to fix this back to it's former self?
While not a big issue, still would be nice to have it fix.

You're going to have to pick one or two of those programs and tell us *exactly* what the error message is.

AnyTitleDeleter:


ES_Identify (ret = -1017)

then when attempting to delete anything Error! ISFS_Delete(ret -102) appears again.

And when trying to delete something it returns:

I'm pretty sure one of his IOS3_ is updated too high.

I don't belive so.

It appears that ES_Identify (and likely the fakesigning bug) have been patched in the IOS that HBC is using. This could happen if he installed the latest Shop Channel (thus getting IOS61on his system) and the HBC is configured to use that IOS.

Normally on 3.2 the HBC would use IOS36, correct? And normally on 3.2 IOS36 would still have ES_Identify and the fakesigning bug intact.

The fact that FreeLoader is still capable of loading some games also indicates that IOS30 still has the fakesigning bug intact.

So it would seem that IOS30 and probably IOS36 still have ES_Identify and the fakesigning bug intact. IOS37 and higher never had the fakesigning bug.

I think the poster needs to determine which IOS the HBC is using.

It indeed seems like HBC is running thruu Shop Channels IOS61.
(And noticed that the freeloader game that didn't work was becaus someone had changed the hz...)

So is there anyway to make HBC not to use IOS61 then?

That i'm currently using 3.2. Right now. Might have been a bad word choice, excuse my poor english.

I guess Kage wanted to imply: did you downgrade to 3.2?

But anyway, why does the Homebrewchannel insist on using IOS61?

The only way I can think is for you to re-install v1.01. That should run off of IOS36 and re-enble your applications.

Downloaded HBC 1.01, the installation ran through IOS34 and was gonna make HBC for IOS36.
But got error when writing ticket
Error -1030002011

The newest HackMii installer uses an exploit that has not yet been patched. The 1.01 installer uses an exploit that I believe has been patched, but not in the IOS versions that should be on your system if you are truly on 3.2.

This is a little puzzling (to me anyway).

The only suggestion I have left is to try the HBC v1.01 installation from the TP Hack or BannerBomb and not from your current HBC (if you haven't already).

Other than that there are ways of getting around your problem but you will have to look elsewhere for advice, as they are not purely homebrew related.

Did it from TP Hack which generated that error.

Only thing i can think of is if the shopchannel(installer or the channel)/mii channel updater(installer)/Bomberman Blast(WiiWare) also felt like updating some other IOS(es) but left the SystemMenu IOS alone.
