Homebrew Channel Update Issue (Issue Resolved)

I get the option to update to Homebrew Channel to version 1.0.3., and when i choose it it downloads the update, and then I get the scam message and it tells me to Press 1. But, when I try to press 1 the Wii won't detect my Wii Remote. Is there any fix for this?

Use a GC controller, for now.

If you don't have a GC controller, I think you need to sync your wiimote before you use the hackmii installer. Do that with the red button next to your SD slot.

...And the one under your wiimotes battery cover.

I had tried the synchronization before, and it didn't work. I do however need to try the GC controller. Thanks for the replies!
