1. Just reinstall using the twilight hack

2. You cannot install the HBC, but if it's already installed it will not be deleted.

3. It's not, but if you must, HBC first...ALWAYS!

DO NOT UPDATE TO 3.4 FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!

If you update to 3.4, Nintendo can update your console without your consent. This means that they could sneak an update that deletes the actual Homebrew Channel.

Is it possible to downgrade from system update 3.4U? Will it ever be?

There is a very safe way to downgrade. Why do you want to downgrade?

I thought it was the IOS's that stopped that, wouldn't downgrading not change those? Or even be able to..

This probably downgrades the IOS too :).

but starfall isn't a bad reason...will probably be instrumental in getting around game disc updates when Nintendo starts fighting harder...

Whats wrong with Starfall? I have it installed to protect me from disc updates.

I didn't think that was possible with out fake signing or what ever..

I was wondering whether the 3.4 update will mess up the HBC. I am aware it disables patchmii and DVDX, but will the homebrew Channel work correctly still. Will there be a work around for 3.4 so i can install it with out it causing any problems? Also what does patch mii exactly do?

There are no problems. You can already install the the HBC via a special 3.4 version of the Twilight Hack.

to use DVDx and starfall you can downgrade from 3.4 to 3.2

I already have the twighlight hack, but thank you. Thats what i needed to know. I guess i can just watch DVDs on my 360. Ill go ahead and update.
