DVD playback requirements

Hey all, i was wondering what was all needed to playback DVD's on the wii?

I tried downloading a few different homebrew apps and only one had a play DVD option, but then errord out saying that it couldnt use the dvd. (I tried multiple, all with same result)

any ideas?

You need to install DVDx via the Hackmii Installer. Once you've done that, try launching a DVD through Mplayer CE.
