Is there a homebrew app that will let me load US and Japanese gamecube games on a Australian wii?

Is there a compatibility forGecko OS or does it work for all gamecube games?

I am having a problem with Eternal Darkness, it loads up the Edgar Allan Poe quote but then freezes with a message about there being a problem ant that I should turn off the gamecube and check the instruction instruction manual.
