Help with video problems.

So i decided to get a wii last week and bought FFCC:TCB and mario kart wii. When i hooked up my wii and turned it on everything was fine. the menu loaded up right and everything. But when i put in the games the video started to act up and cycle vertically like an old tv with the vertical control messed up. any thoughts on how this is happening or how i can fix it?

Have you tried pluging it into a different TV and seeing if u get the same result? Make sure the cord isn't damaged.

Sounds like a PAL vs NTSC problem.
