4.3 help

WIll updating my wii to version 4.3 still remove HBC and bootmii despite having the newest versions of both? (I installed them using the bannerbomb and then updated them).

If updating will remove them is there a way of still accessing the shop channel?

Updating won't remove HBC, or BootMii/IOS. If you are already on 4.2, it won't remove BootMii/boot2 either. If you're on 4.1 or below, BootMii/boot2 may be removed if you have it, but you can easily reinstall it.

If you don't want to update though, you can manually update the Shop Channel by using NUSD to download the latest revision and pack it to a WAD, and then use WadImport to install it.

I might as well note that updating will remove HBC versions older than 1.0.7. Make sure you are using HBC 1.0.7 or newer (if your HBC is using the new theme, you have 1.0.7 or newer) before updating.
