I Don't Undertsand...

I followed the Smash Stack exploit rules right down to the bottom, but it won't load for me! When I just click Stage Builder it does the same thing it would do without the explots.

Are you using an SD (not SDHC) card?

I really wouldn't know.

If your SD card is larger than 2GB it is SDHC. Smash Stack will not detect SDHC cards.

It's 2GB exact. Is that bad?

2GB means it is not SDHC.

You might be doing something wrong. Make sure of the following:

1) You can not have any other stage file, either in your Wii internal memory nor in your SD. If you have stages in your Wii make sure to delete them or move them to another SD before running the exploit.

2) Make sure you copied the exploit into the correct path into the SD. It should be:

SD:\private\wii\app\rsbe\st\

Otherwise it will not find it.

If this doesn't help, then there is something else you are doing wrong... (Your Wii and SSBB are both american, right?)

Note on 1) - This includes the default built-in stages, you must delete them too. (Or copy them to your SD card, copy them from SD to PC, delete from SD, do hack, then copy back to SD and finally copy back to Wii. But is it really worth the hassle?)

Also, the OP is from America, so I am guessing his Wii and game are American too ;)

I don't quite understand number 2, so that's probably my problem. What do I need to do?

OK, so I extracted st_080805_0933.bin to the SD Card and when I went to Stage Builder this is what popped up.

You need to put boot.elf (from the HackMii Installer download at [www.bootmii.org] ) on the root of the SD card, and then it shall work.

Now... How can I build in stage builder again without loading boot.elf?

Delete the .bin file you copied onto the SD card.

And no worries btw, I'm here to help :).

I have ONE more question.

I can load The Channel, but it's blank, cuz I don't have The Homebrew Browser in it. I don't have this apps folder thing they're talking about, because I made one and but the Browser in it, but the menu was still blank.

So ya... Helping me on this will make me complete on The Homebrew Channel. :D

I thought all these questions were already answered countless times in any homebrew tutorial... (?)
