if i update to 3.4U, would it format my internal wii memories?

basically my problem is this:

i had a fresh 3.1U wii at the start.

i used twilight hack and i got the homebrew installed, used 3.2U anyregionchanger and then everything worked as normal.

but then i downloaded some nintendo channel and then the homebrew programs started to give me error codes (1017, 1026, and more)

so i want to basically start from the beginning again.

but i have a lot of VC games in my channels as well as other cios, ios installed on my wii.

if i reset my wii and make it reformat using the system menu from the wii, would i able to start from the beginning?

or it wouldn't erase the files i installed before?

or should i just upgrade to 3.4U? would 3.4U upgrade erase all the errors and files within the wii memories? then use 3.2U downgrader and use twilight hack to start over?

what is possible? someone help, thanks

file manager, anyregionchanger, wad manager, etc

also gives me error ret-1029 when i try to install wads

i didnt have any problems with mine, but i started from 2.2u. whats was installed or should i say on your sd card?

Formatting the Wii memory does not undo any firmware upgrades. You would still have 3.X that you have now. Most installers will not work as they used an exploit that has been patched out in 3.3 .
