can't update to 4.3

I am getting a error 32004 when trying to update. I have used bannerbomb to put in hackmii, wii brew channel, bootmii ect, (just the standard stuff).

I also installed ios 58 so that I could play those games that need it without having to update. However I just got ea active 2 and I need to update before I can play it.

Make sure you have the latest Homebrew Channel, and then update from the disc.

I have the latest everything since I just had to redo the whole thing and I thought it said update from disc was a bad thing.

What said? It's not a bad thing as long as you've got the latest stuff. Obviously that can't be said about future games with future updates though; I'm talking about all current games.

Update from disc is no different to update online (in fact, its an older update, so is even less of an issue). The only time you shouldn't upgrade from a disc is if you have previously downgraded your Wii (a really stupid thing to do), and are still on the lower System Menu that you downgraded to.

How do I get this disc update? Do I download it from nintendo or wii brew or something?

Put the disc in your Wii and try to play it. (From the Wii Menu.)

It it it it, what disc are you referring too that has this update. I don't know stop being ambivalent and just tell me what CD would have the wii update on it.

EA Active. You know, the game you mentioned that prompted you to update? That seems ridiculously obvious to me.

This is telling yourself what you need to update. Put that game in when it ask to update then choose yes and update, is that easy enough?

It doesn't update off the CD it just trys to get it off the internet. I'll try again but I'm sure it didn't work.

Updating from a disk (which is a DVD, not a CD) will not try to update from the internet. If it did, then anyone without internet connection on their Wii would be completely unable to play the game.

I just tried deleting my internet connection and trying to update from the CD and it still failed. This time with no error code.

You have to go to the disc channel.

I go to the disc channel, it says update system software or something.

Then it starts the progress bar going after it asks me if I want to update (the progress bar doesn't start on the online one).

Then it goes 1/3rd of the way and fails without saying any error message.

What do you mean it fails?

This smells like waninkoko's firmware/failware.

Have you used any "safe" updaters, or patched the System Menu with something like StartPatch or Priiloader at all?

I used priiloader because its now default, do I have to undo that.

Make sure you don't have any Priiloader patches (hacks) applied.
