Try formatting your SD card to FAT with The Official SD Card Formatter Tool. Its a common problem.

i got everything from hbc.hackmii.com and i have version 3.4

i tried that i first tried fat then i tried fat32 neither worked

Formatting your SD card has nothing to do with what you got from hackmii. If your SD card is not formatted to FAT before using the twilight hack, you will recieve the error you are recieving. If you have another SD card lying around, you could also try using that.

If everything still does not work, record your nonworking SD card here, and then try a different SD card. Some simply dont work with the twilight hack.

i know that but does it have anything to do with using a micro sd card? its 256mb

They should still work with the twilight hack. They're just smaller SD cards after all.

Some just simply aren't compatible with the twilight hack. I dont know why. They're just not. If you're sure you've correctly formatted the card, and you're sure the files and file placement is correct, then you need to use a diferent SD card. Its as simple as that.

Please do everyone a favor and report your nonworking card here.
