Online gaming and Homebrew

Will the Homebrew program interfere with any games that I decide to play online? If so, will my Wii get bricked if I attempt it?

I don't know any way to get your Wii bricked playing online with or without homebrew.

You can be banned by Nintendo if you play online with cheat codes, but your Wii will not get bricked.
