A few questions

I apologize if this is a duplicate but I can't find my post so I don't know if I clicked submit. Hopefully, there wasn't a problem with my post as I don't see any issues? If so, can someone let me know.

I was working fine but then I got a DSI Dump error and the only thing I changed was changing the ipconfig on the wii to manual. So, I switched back to automatic and it worked fine. I came across a similar topic here and this is what is said so I'm curious if I have to have the internet on for my emulator to work? Here is the reply on the dsi dump "problem is that you Wii doesn't have network access, which will cause
a crash if the meta.xml for an app contains the no_ios_reload line - this is a known HBC bug.

Also, is there a way to not have my wii automatically update? I will be using it for netflix but I don't want anything loading without my permission.

I suppose an easy way to fix that is to open the meta.xml files and remove the < no_ios_reload> line. The emulators don't need wifi but if it's set to manual I think it wouldn't connect automatically which would mess up the emulator.

The Wii never automatically updates. You would have to click "OK" for it to update.
