Does letterbomb exploit still work given WiiConnect24 service ended in Jun 2013?

It doesn't kill Wiis unless you're a complete idiot who messes things up. It's just against the rules of these forums, and in many use cases, also against the law of most countries (obviously not all use cases e.g. legit backups in some countries)
