Wii black start up screen.

The console has functioned properly since 2012 until recently out of thin air turned black when he started it one morning. We have not installed any teme or menus.
My son's Wii is black at start and Wiimote flashes with all the lights indicating that it is not in sync with the console. I can go into priiloader but can not browse in Priiloader or make any changes because Wiimote strikes.

Is there a way to sync the Wiimote, because holding the red button on the console and wiimote dose not help. Is there any other way to do it or do I have to buy a game cube?

I solved the problem the next day. All I had to was disconnecting power for 20 seconds!
