online games with wii homebrew

hi i have got wii homebrew on my wii and was wondering your not allowed to insall the update for it so can i still play my old wii games like mario kart without effecting it and if i play it wont out a update on so i would have to insall it all again ?

What? Why would you need to update to play your old games?

i think hes assuming that he needs to update all games. the updates come from a for to update your ios nothing more that ive seen.

No. Online games do not pull down updates to work. Future games might require it though. At the moment that is not required.
