Problems with standby mode

Hi people,

I installed homebrew on my wii using the hackmii installer for version 4.0e.

However since then when i try and power my wii down into standby to charge my wii remotes it switches off completely, so instead of amber light I have the red light on.

The only way i can charge my remotes is by leaving the wii on, keep alternating the remotes while playing, or through the pc when im on that when i remember to.

Any ideas?

Sure you didnt turn standby mode off to let bannerbomb work? If so, turn it back on.

Also if you have preloader installed you might have set it to do that unknowingly
