Data management not working

When I click into data management, I can only go into save data. When I try to go into the Channels section, it locks up. I can still hear the wii music in the back, and still move my hand around, but when I try to go back to the Wii System Menu, it freezes at a black screen and I have to restart my wii. Any suggestions?

do you still have bannerbomb on your sd card? if so, delete it.

no, i've had a modded wii for almost a year now. it's been working fine until recently. the way i've been deleting VC channels is downloading the wads off the net and then using the wad installer to uninstall them that way. but that's a pain in the butt, plus the main reason why i want to get into the channel data managment is to move VC channels to my SD card.

WADs = illegal and unsupported here.

Anyway, I guess you could download a WAD of your System Menu with NUSD (this IS legal) and install it, see if that fixes it.
