Semi-brick with Sysmenu:0 Sysconf: 1

Help!

My wii was upgraded from 3.2J (English menu) to 4.0J, it's become semi-brick -- can play games but cannot go into 'setting'.



Try to use AnyRegionChanger to downgrade to 3.2J, but cannot go into it and say:

Your system menu and sysconf regions differs.
Sysmenu:0
Sysconf: 1

Then, cannot go into AnyRegionchanger anymore.

Appreciate if you have any idea to fix this error.

Do you mean 3.2U? If so, install an NTSC-U system menu and its IOS (for system menu 4.0 or 4.1, you need IOS 60 version 6174). You must install the correct version of the correct IOS before installing the system menu, or your wii will be fully bricked. You can install the IOS and system menu with Dop-IOS Mod or you can download the appropriate WADs with NUS Downloader and install them with WAD Import.

There is a small risk of this bricking your wii, so I recommend that you install Bootmii as boot2 and make a NAND backup before installing the system menu.
