Newbe... No settings semi-brick and I'm stuck...

I am officially stuck... I have downloaded most homebrew applications that seem like they should help my problem but I haven't had any luck with any of the working in any significant way. My wii is semi bricked with the opera error whenever I enter wii settings. My last try was to to use Any Region Changer and I got...

Opening Screen

In the main screen there is the *Warning Area/Sysmenu Mismatch* but everything is set to USA, 49, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

What System Menu do you have? If it is 4.0 or below, get a copy of NSMB for your Wii's region and perform the update from it. It sounds like you have performed an out-of-region update from an import disc, which is how this brick occurred.

It is so sad that I suck so bad... the NSMB fixed all my problems... A whole lot of wiibrew time down the drain but at least I can update the channel and get onto the fun stuff and forget all the other stuff.
