Bricked 2.x please help

Hello all after some major help here as ive wrecked the kids wii

I rather stupidly downgraded to 2.0 to install some wad files that wernt working on 3.4. afterward someone put the wii fit disk in before id updraded again, i got a black screen. now when ever i switch on my wii i just get a black screen, the drive spins but nothin else

ive done a bit of searching and found savemefree, (gc controller to boot into diagnostic mode) and followiing the chart on savemii website realised i needed a chip to fix, ive bought the wiikey 2 and installled it and ran systemupdate autorun disk but still nothing is happenin

If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated

the wiikey probably does some region free patching, which can mess up the autoboot bit of the disc. unless you can turn it off, you will need bootmii or infectus

wouldnt it simply be possible to desolder wiikey then replace it with another chip?

If it's the chip not autorunnimg what chip would I use? It's d2c wii

get a chip that doesn't region patch automaticaly and try that
