Banner Brick on firmware 4.0(USA)

I ran BootMe on the iso and then popped in wii and the same thing happened disc spins then stops and nothing happens

but if it didnt autoboot from "health and safety..." will it autoboot from recovery menu???

True. I'd wait, just to be on the safe side. but if you're REALLY desperate to play your games in the mean time, simply burn them with the boot.me patch :-)

alright i'm gonna try to boot it from the savemii screen but ill need to borrow a GC controller =(

Savemii menu. The menu itself autoboots if it can get past the H&S screen, but since you can't you need savemii/frii menu

Hey mshaheen_95 - what's your status? I'm anxiously following your thread as I'm in fairly similar situation.

Umm, sorry to tell you all this but my Wii is banner bricked aswell, 4.0E. I can't get to the recovery menu nor can I enter the system menu etc etc.. Me and my friend got a Drive key so we could autoboot games and such which worked, we did it because we thought we could boot some disc that would get rid of the bad wad.. followed some stupid guide that tricked us. Since 4.0 has patched the trucha thingie or whatever that wouldn't work so we ended up only being allowed to run original games.. Then we heard of this brawl hack you're all waiting for but.. sorry to say this but.. it won't work since you can't autoboot brawl. So yeah.. sucks. And I don't think you ever will be able to autoboot brawl on 4.0 @-@ It's sad.
