Wii remotes wont work

it's just bad, kids have issues, cant we just have it boot into the main wii screen without preloader coming up? Also should i load this wiiboot now too. Thanks for all your help!

There is an option in Preloader that says "auto-boot to..." change that to system menu. Then it will load right into the regular menu. To get back to the Preloader screen you turn on the wii and hold reset.
