Error:003

I have a softmod KOREAN wii region changed to USA, that Bricked with error 003 after updated to FW4.2

Is there a way to fix it?

unless you have an infectus, and a reasonably old wii which has old boot1 (i.e. can install BootMii as boot2) there is no way to fix it.

My wii is one year old, So i need infectus, so how do i do?

It may not be old enough, but if you want to try, you need an Infectus (which is a modchip, although I dont think it can be used as a regular modchip, i.e. it cant bypass copy protection I THINK, so it should be legal, unlike modchips in some countries) and you need a solder iron and some skill with said solder iron. You have to de-solder your Wii's NAND chip, solder it to the Infectus, connect infectus to computer, use a piece of software to install BootMii as boot2, then boot your wii. It will load BootMii. If you have HBC installed, you can then run it from BootMii and use a wad installer to install a WAD of 4.1 System Menu made using NUSD. If you think you're up to all that, reply and I'll PM you a link to a tutorial. (I can't post it here because it's on a fail site, which is mainly about warez)

But i can boot into Rescue menu, is there any other solution?

Probably not. You'd need a modchip and an autoboot Smash Bros Brawl disc, and from what I've read the US version of Brawl doesn't work if you patch it to autoboot. And any other exploit requires you to have the correct save on your Wii, so unless you happen to have Indiana Pwns on your Wii, your only option other than buying a new Wii is the Infectus thing.

Olright! But people say you can autoboot Brawl Ntsc using Drivekey mod chip, is that true? the chip have that feature, so you dont need to patch the game,look here!

I dunno. Never heard of that before. And also, you should remove that link. A lot of the stuff posted in that link is unsupported here. Anyway, I have never heard of this, but I guess it is possible. If you can get one, I guess you could try it, but modchips may be illegal in your country.

Then go for it. It seems it may work. You just need to use SmashStack to run dop-IOS MOD and install System Menu 4.1U. Or use NUSD to download a WAD of System Menu 4.1U and then install it with a WAD installer, run via SmashStack. dop-IOS MOD should be the easier option.

EDIT: And if it doesn't work, you can probably find an autoboot disc of some tool which will help you.

can you autoboot brawl USA dvd9 backup or original with drivekey from rescue menu Without patching the game? How hard can it bee? Without starpatch and preloader!

im not getting a driveky without knowing for sure!

i heard that you need to have original ssbb to do SmashStack autoboot.

Nothing seems to work, have tried everything, Time to buy a new USA Motherboard, anyone know where to buy, not ebay!

dunno, maybe dealextreme? dunno if they have them, but they sell parts for loads of consoles, and they definitely have some for wii (i know there a disc drives on there)

That's a load of warez, refrain from posting stuff like that please. The site its on is also full of warez. This isn't GBAFail, we don't support linking to warez here, even if it is slightly indirect.
