Sometimes when I use gecko OS to play Japanese games or SD codes, My wiimote lights will start flashing randomly. I have to take out the batteries and put them back in so I can resync the wii. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a bug in Gecko OS. However your Wii is NOT bricked. Bricked = all the functionality of a brick (i.e. the thing you build with). In other words, it does not function AT ALL. There is also a "semi-brick", which is where certain functionality is lost, but not all (usually the Settings menu is inaccessible).
