New black Wii stuck at bootmii

I bought a new black Wii a few weeks ago, and last weekend found the homebrew hack.
Wow i was thinking to myself "too good to be true". So i tried, i loaded up my SD card with the
files i was told to, and loaded it into the wii, it came up with all the right load screens and hey presto
HOMEBREW CHANNEL on my Wii.
BUT....When i try to acces the homebrew channel it doesnt do anything. I can either get the main
bubble popping screen and go no further, or i can load up from bootmii, and then it freezes at
the bootmii page--the page with 4 symbols.

Am i a total retard or is there something wrong??
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE.

Bootmii has to be controlled with a gamecube controller, or the buttons on the front of the Wii

As far as Apps in the Homebrew Channel goes, the Apps have to be on your SD card, the Homebrew Channel doesn't come with any apps

Ok sorry I AM A TOTAL RETARD, where do i get the apps from??
And when i try and use the front buttons they just reset or turn the Wii off

1) you can get apps from the Wiibrew wiki at wiibrew.org

2) the power buttons are to be used for bootmii while at the Bootmii screen, Other than at that screen, Bootmii is inactive

2) BootMii as IOS can't use the front buttons, you need a Gamecube controller.

The problem with HBC is you have no apps. go on wiibrew.org and find apps to UnZip onto your sd card. The prob with bootmii is simple, you can't control it with a wiimote. a gamecube controller will work. or the buttons on your wii. I'm guessing your a starter on Hackmii.

yeah just use the buttons on the front like power and reset. Or use a gamecube controller.

If your Wii is colored black, then it has the new boot1. Since you are forced to load BootMii as IOS, it is of no help if your Wii is bricked. Sorry. :(
