Power Off Wii problem

I have update my Wii to 4.3 and when i push the power on the wii or wii cotroller wii goes to stanby mode. is there a way i can set it up so it will power its self off without me unpluging the power cable from the wii?

Turn off WiiConnect24 standby in Wii Settings

You can also hold the power button on the Wii for a few seconds until it turns red if you want to leave WiiConnect24 on.
