Gamecube disc wont spin up.

I just got metroid prime, but when I try to play it, I get a disc read error. I can hear the clicking sounds as the disc gets placed on the spindle, but I can't hear it spinning up. I was able to have it read Wii sports just fine? What's going on? The disc is not scratched up, and the system has HBC and ios202 installed.

Have you tried using Gecko OS?

I just did, and it works :) Is there a way to fix it with the system menu so I dont have to use GeckoOS each time?

Is your Metroid Prime disc from another region? The Wii System Menu only accepts games from your region.

It is the right region.
