wii powers on, but there is no video, just a black screen

hello all:

my name is schaun bishop and i have a huge problem having my wii to display my system menu 4.2U.

if anyone gets this message, i would encourage [+] answers.

my wii turns on, but doesn't show nothing but a black screen and upon turning it of [which is the power button on the far left], i have to hold it for a few seconds before it goes off.

source of problem:
dop mii failed to refresh my system menu, causing it to make my wii freeze before it even loads the menu.

please, if you have good, legitamate answer, feel free to leave a reply on my forum.
if you don't have anything good to say, i suggest not saying anything at all.

If you have BootMii/boot2, you should restore a NAND dump from there.

If you don't, your Wii sadly cannot be fixed.

well that sucks. nintendo.com wants the same price for the wii i paid for @ first cash for repair.

it was a gift that my mom passed onto me as a x-mass gift.
how do i use bootmii on a frozen blackscreen with nothing on it and can i get some intel on the wii that dop-mii had destroyed?

if for only 1 reason that i knew how to use bootmii / boot2 as system menu 4.2U, i'd be intelligent and i wouldn't have to depend on anyone else. can any of you find a way to protect my investment and have someone to teach me how to restore my system menu? it would help a lot, totally.

and can you teach me how to use bootmii as a system menu restorer?

If you didn't have BootMii/boot2 installed before bricking, it is of no use to you now. You really have no option other than getting a new Wii. (The new Wii will be unable to install BootMii/boot2, as quite possibly was your current one).

I had the same problem and I have fixed it.
At the back of your wii, there is a fan.
Blow into it to get rid of all the dust and then plug it all back in.

Your system menu is fully bricked but there some way to fix it without install bootmii or preloader.
